Symposium 2026 - April 14-16, 2026:
Empowering Mission-Ready Cyber-Spectrum Leaders
The VICEROY Symposium brings together Department of War (DoW) leaders, operators, educators, and scholars to strengthen talent pipelines, operational integration, and readiness across all warfighting domains. This year’s theme, “Empowering Mission-Ready Cyber-Spectrum Leaders,” emphasizes building a mission-ready cyber-spectrum workforce through skills-based competitions, internships, and experiential learning that strengthen adaptability, operational integration, and readiness across all warfighting domains.
Hosted by Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) in collaboration with Air Force Research Laboratory, and the Griffiss Institute.
Cyber-spectrum dominance begins with highly skilled people ready to serve. As the threat landscape evolves at the speed of conflict, the Department of War’s enduring strategic advantage rests in cultivating a mission-ready workforce through skills-based competitions, internships, and cyber-spectrum opportunities that strengthen adaptability, operational integration, and readiness across all warfighting domains. The VICEROY Symposium unites government officials, military leaders, operators, educators, scholars, and stakeholders to accelerate talent development, strengthen the cyber-spectrum workforce pipeline, and ensure enduring readiness for the next fight.
